Istanbul Trade Fair Calendar and Fair-Season Accommodation Guide

Throughout the year, Istanbul hosts dozens of international trade fairs at centers such as CNR Expo, Tüyap and WTC. Since hotels fill up fast during fair seasons, planning near-airport accommodation early is the smartest move for any attendee. This guide explains which fair is at which center, why you should book accommodation early, and how to set up your trip step by step.

Which Fair at Which Center?

When planning a fair trip in Istanbul, the first step is knowing which center hosts the event you'll attend. The city's main fair grounds are located on different sides, which directly affects your transport and accommodation choice. The three centers below host the vast majority of international fairs.

CNR Expo / Istanbul Expo Center

Located in Yeşilköy, on the Istanbul Airport side. Thanks to its proximity to the airport, it's practical for attendees arriving by plane. For recommendations specific to this center, take a look at the hotel near CNR Expo guide.

Tüyap Fair Center

A large complex with 14 halls, located in Beylikdüzü. Our Tüyap fair accommodation guide makes transport and accommodation planning easier for Tüyap attendees.

WTC Istanbul (World Trade Center)

A business and event center in Yeşilköy; frequently used for congresses and business meetings. If you're looking for business accommodation around the WTC, review the hotel near WTC options.

About Fair Dates

About fair dates: The Istanbul fair calendar is updated every year and event dates change often. For this reason, we don't give exact dates on this page; be sure to confirm the day of the fair you'll attend from the fair's official website or the organizer. Plan your accommodation based on that verified date.

Why Should You Book Fair-Season Accommodation Early?

The week a major fair opens, the surrounding hotels fill with thousands of attendees, booth crews and visitors. When demand peaks, it becomes both harder to find a suitable room and more expensive. The attendee who acts early secures both their location and their budget. The early-booking advantage is especially decisive for boutique-scale hotels with limited capacity. Also, during fair week, room types (single, double, long-stay) sell out fast; booking in advance preserves your chance to choose the room type you want.

Cosinus Airport Hotel is a 39-room property; this limited capacity offers a calm, personal stay while making early reservation even more important during fair seasons. If you need an invoiced process and group planning for corporate teams, you can proceed through our corporate and invoiced accommodation service. For quick, single-night visits, single-night business accommodation is practical.

• 4-star comfort
• 39 rooms · limited room capacity
• 9.6 Booking rating
• 24/7 reception

The Value of Being Near IST for a Fair Attendee

For a fair attendee arriving by plane, proximity to the airport means a quick arrival without getting stuck in tiring city traffic. Our location in Arnavutköy is close to the Istanbul Airport (IST) side; it's on the side near the CNR Expo and WTC centers in Yeşilköy. Our hotel is about 12 minutes from Istanbul Airport. Arriving on time for fairs that open early in the morning, and not having to make a long journey when returning tired in the evening, are decisive advantages for an efficient fair day. You can find more detail on how efficient accommodation near the airport contributes to a business trip in our efficient accommodation advantages article.

Our hotel has parking; guests arriving in their own car can leave their vehicle at the hotel. For guests who don't come by car, solving transport with a transfer is also a practical way. A fair-specific transfer can be arranged for round trips to the fair center and the airport.

Tip: If you want to be at the center during the day and rested in your accommodation at night during the fair, you can also consider our meeting accommodation options to plan your meetings and discussions at the hotel too. If a workspace and uninterrupted internet matter, check our Wi-Fi and workspace facilities.

Fair-Day Logistics and Timing Notes

A few practical points help make your fair day productive. Most large fairs open early in the morning, and the first hours are suitable for both booth setup and a calm visit; so plan to leave the hotel early. Around midday the halls and transport get busier, and traffic thickens toward the evening; leaving buffer time for the return earns you a rested evening. If you're coming in your own car, remember that the fair grounds' parking lots can fill up, and leaving your car at the hotel and going to the fair by transfer is often more comfortable. For multi-day fairs, being at the center during the day and resting in a quiet room near the airport at night keeps the pace sustainable.

What Makes Sense for Whom?

• Single-day visitor: If arriving by flight and returning the same day, proximity to the airport minimizes lost time.
• Booth crew / long stay: If you'll stay throughout the fair, long-stay and an invoiced process stand out.
• Corporate group: For those coming as a team, group booking and meeting-space planning are important.
